It depends. If there are any breakable items in the drawers we recommend removing those items. If there are just clothes and soft items in the drawers there is no need. Remove heavy items, guns, ammunition, jewelry and ALL valuables.

Very reliable! I contacted Chris on short notice and she worked us into their schedule. Tim and his crew came at the scheduled call. They were very courteous and capable of packing up an entire house and transporting into another house. They took furniture apart and set it up at new house. Frank went out of his way to make our move as stressless as possible. His quote was about 20% less than others and everything went smoothly. He accommodated our schedule on short notice, had extra help on the loading end, had our 5 bedroom house loaded, and arrived at our new home by noon! The guys were extremely polite, worked hard, and no complaints about two stories on both ends. No damages and nothing lost. They need to learn how to talk to customers & apologize when they totally botch a move. I have lived in Southwest Florida since 1977 and have never met a more nasty bunch of people. Maybe they are good at wrapping & packing, but could not keep an appointment on two different occasions, put an 92 year old woman into a complete state of confusion by showing up unannounced 3 hours early and just started moving all her stuff. In all my years of doing business, and I’ve owned 4 over the last 30 years, have I met a more despicable, vulgar, unashamed group of women. This is the first time in my life of 51 years that I have actually taken the time out of my extremely busy schedule to give a company a bad review for I believe everyone has the excusable bad day. These folks had multiple times to make things right and chose not to. Please, unless you have no other choice, DO NOT give this business your patronage.

We had 1 to many Horrible Experiences with Budget Truck Rental who Basically Left is 170 Miles from Home after a 1 month in advanced Reservation and 1 Day Before Confirmation.
Screwed our Plans, Cost us more to pay loaders and get a Truck from a local Uhaul Location.
We were in panic and had no choice and the truck wasn’t big enough
We Called with very Little Notice To Penske 800 # And Found that they were the Best Rate & accommodating as The Pick Up Location was Right in my Home Town.
C & F Movers Of North Port was like a Fresh Sunny Florida Sky As when we walked in the Next Day To Pick Up our 12 Ft Truck we Found that We Got an upgrade to a 16 Ft And it was Practically Brand New.
The Office Staff was Very Friendly , Early in the Office as we arrived early and She took us in Right Away And we were Out Of there in less than 15 mins.
There Office Was Clean And well kept.
C & F moving Fleet looks Pristine, Like New Trucks.
If we ever Need Movers, We Know who we are Calling 1st.

On a Thursday in March of 2016 we learned we could move into our new house. We called C&F and learned we could have a team on Saturday. Great News! C&F Movers moved us from Port Charlotte, FL. to St. Louis, MO about 5 years ago. This week, they came to pick us up in St. Louis and brought us back to Florida.

I’ve used C&F 6 times in the last 7 years. Moved from Port Charlotte to NJ Then they came back to NJ to bring me back to Florida was the final move. I utilized there A/C storage facility for about a year until my home was built. Not only did they store my stuff but they also stored my cars in there warehouse as well. Took my furniture I didn’t want anymore away and junked it. There your one stop show. Frank and Cathy are honest people and I highly recommend this company for all your storage, local & long distance moves. There crews are professional and very respectful. From what I see it’s a very clean Place very organized they seem to pay their employees well I don’t see robox beat up cars in the driveway I see nice clean vehicles which means they’re not greedy and they take care of their employees which means their employees take care of their customers it looks very easy to get in and out of not that you need to come here they come to you but if you had to come here for some reason they have a very nice building in a commercial area

In my recent move from the FL west coast to the Panhandle in FL, I hired C&F Movers after receiving quotes from 3 firms. They were a mid-point in cost between the 3 movers. Though more costly than the least, I was impressed enough during the interview to be comfortable that this was a firm who wanted to gain and maintain a good reputation. I wasn’t disappointed. The men were timely in arrival, both for packing and delivery; they worked well together; they listened and responded to me with any inquiries or suggestions I had; and worked untiringly. After 17 years in one place we decided to move. Our realtor suggested C & F Movers. Frank came and gave us an estimate. It was a local move but involved 4 days of storage on the truck before we could close on our new home. We also had several extremely heavy pieces of furniture. The estimate was fair and the move went without a problem. We did all the small packing but left mirrors, pictures and TV’s to them to pack. As we left the title company following the closing I called C & F and they arrived to deliver within 90 minutes. 5 Star all the way and would use them again. Amazing job gang.

Moved our household goods from Hamden CT to Venice FL. Company was very easy and flexible to work with. We were given a firm quote based on our inventory and the final payment was exactly as quoted. We were not able to be in CT when the company came to pick up our load and they were fine with that as long as we had someone there as our representative. The driver and assistant were very patient and flexible with an awkward parking/loading arrangement in CT. Once the truck was loaded they headed right to FL and planned a drop off sooner than we expected. Company was flexible with our timing and waited until we were ready to have the load delivered a few hours later than they had planned. All movers were friendly, professional and offered to help move, rearrange, etc. We would highly recommend this company. The move was a much more pleasant experience than we had anticipated.

I have never used movers before but if you are debating on spending the money, do not hesitate to use this company. From beginning to end they were beyond professional. We recently moved from Illinois to Florida, which seemed like quite a daunting task to us. C&F made it much easier than we expected. We had a great experience from start to finish. The customer service and communication were excellent and went a long way towards giving us peace of mind. They kept us posted every step of the way and they were so careful with our belongings. They were courteous, friendly and really respectful of our stuff and our homes. We found their pricing to be reasonable and you really won’t find a nicer, more trustworthy group of people to handle your move. I really can’t say enough good things about our experience with C&F. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

The entire process from beginning to end was flawless. From the office staff to our movers. Manny, Frank and Jimmy who moved us out and Eli. Jeff and Greg who moved us in. They were absolutely Fantastic. Helped take the stress of moving off our shoulders.

They have put together an amazing crew of polite and professional personnel. They are careful and responsive.

The pack and load were on time and well done. The delivery to Virginia was four days after load and our ‘stuff’ never left the trailer between load and unload.

We are about 2/3 unpacked and the condition of our shipment, so far, reflects the care put into the packing.

Rich, the pick up and delivery driver was exceptional. he even called us the day before to look at the delivery location. Even the third person they brought on locally was polite and responsive.

i give them an A+

My husband & I are returning to Pennsylvania from Florida. We were very impressed with Frank when he came over to give us an estimate on moving. Four of his workmen were here today to load up the truck for our move. These gentlemen were friendly, professional and proficient. Angela, who works in the office, was instrumental in assisting us with shipping my husband’s Corvette back. We have already recommended C & F movers to our family & friends. I had learned of CF after committing to a national moving company. I was using CF for storage. I wish I knew of them earlier and would’ve definitely used them not only for the storage but the moving as well! The moving company I used was a disaster, but when the truck finally rolled into CF, Angela and Chris and the rest of the crew did a GREAT JOB!!!!! Very professional and the customer service was unmatched!

Frank and his crew Rich, Justin, Rich Jr. and the other guys were awesome. They were very professional and took care with all of our items. They arrived on time and delivered as promised. Frank took the time to touch base with me numerous times during the moving process to make sure I was happy and to see if there was anything we needed. It could have been a very stressful time moving out of state, but they made the move easy. They took care of all of our items , I cannot say enough how GREAT our experience was. I would not hesitate in recommending them or using them again in the future. When we had our keys in hand for our new home I called him and our furniture was delivered right on time!!!
